This is a blog related to a joint project (involving a mother and a daughter), inspired by Gretchen Rubin’s book and blog The Happiness Project. We are people who work a lot with our personal development, and constantly strive towards leading as good a life as possible. One thing we have both discovered is that we like organizing projects – of various kinds (besides this one, we are also working on a children’s book project!). We also believe that focus is useful in order to get things done, and it is usually easier to focus on one thing at a time when you want to develop something, rather than trying to do everything at the same time. This is one reason why Gretchen Rubin’s project appealed to us.
Titania (mother) and Miranda (daughter) are leading quite different lives, but we also have a lot of activities and ideas in common. This means that you will both find similarities and differences between our respective projects and the ways we write about them. You can find more information about the projects under Titania and Miranda. There you can also find our twelve “commandments”, ideas that work like guiding principles in our lives. In the blog we describe our focus areas in a detailed way and let you know about how things are going.
We hope that you will follow us throughout or project work – for better and for worse – and that perhaps you will be inspired to start your own project focusing on health, well-being and happiness.
Memento Vivere – remember to live!
